FREE SUBSTITUTIONS

Monitored Substitution is allowed in EXTRA only if it is handled in a manner that will ensure that all participants get as close to equal playing time as possible.

For EXTRA play, subs need to wear pinnies and stay in the team technical area. When they are presented for substitutions, they will hold the pinnie in their hand and hand it to the player coming off of the field and wait at the touchline for the player coming off until that player exchanges pinnies with them at the touchline. If a player nearest a touchline away from the team technical area leaves the field at that touch line, their substitute can leave the pinnie behind the touchline at the technical area and enter the field once the player substituting out for them has left the field of play.
