2026 Age Determination Change

Effective for the 2026-2027 Season, games starting in August of 2026. Cutoff date is August 1st.

Several programs / regions combine age divisions together. Regions may choose to run the following programs combined:

U4 can fall under Playground, Schoolyard, or U6
U5 can fall under Playground, Schoolyard, or U6
U7 follows U8 guidelines and can be combined with U8 if needed
U9 follows U10 guidelines and can be combined with U10 if needed
U11 follows U12 guidelines and can be combined with U12 if needed
U13 follows U14 guidelines and can be combined with U14 if needed
U13 and U14 can be combined with U15 and follow U14 guidelines if needed or U15 COED Division and 11v11 COED Guidelines
U15 players can typically choose between a U15 division or a U19 COED Division
U16 through U18 typically fall under U19 COED and follow 11v11 COED Guidelines

School Year Age Change

· August 1 will be the cutoff date for determining age division

· Recommend wording division names:

U04 Playground - COED (Aug 1, 2022 – July 31, 2024)

U05 Schoolyard - COED (Aug 1, 2021 – July 31, 2022)

U06 - Boys (Aug 1, 2020 – July 31, 2021) Kindergarten

U06 - Girls (Aug 1, 2020 – July 31, 2021) Kindergarten

U07 - Boys (Aug 1, 2019 – July 31, 2020) 1st Grade

U07 - Girls (Aug 1, 2019 – July 31, 2020) 1st Grade

U08 - Boys (Aug 1, 2018 – July 31, 2019) 2nd Grade

U08 - Girls (Aug 1, 2018 – July 31, 2019) 2nd Grade

U10 - Boys (Aug 1, 2016 – July 31, 2018) 3rd/4th Grade
